Parts Finder

Comprehensive and Detailed Parts Finder

Our Parts Finder helps you quickly find great deals on quality motorcycle parts, making your repair or upgrade process smooth and cost effective. It also contains a lot of information on preferred brands and best practices to help you make a decision.

Once you have found your parts, you can let VolksMoto change them for you, or you can do it yourself at our garagecontact us for an appointment.

Note: This is not a list of ALL the stores available, just a vendor list that we have had good experience with.

OEM Parts

OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Think of motorcycle brands such as BMW, Ducati, KTM, Yamaha etc. as OEMs. They have extended part catalogues and some parts can’t be found elsewhere but directly from the manufacturer. General consumables can also be purchased from the OEM, but they are usually more expensive than the aftermarket counterparts, and sometimes even of inferior quality. Be prepared to dig into detailed diagrams to find your parts.

  1. Motorcycle Spare Parts EU
  2. OEM Bike Parts
  3. CMSNL

Some parts might not be produced by the OEM anymore (older motorcycles), or are too expensive brand new. Enter: Second hand market. Think here of parts salvaged from a crashed or unrepairable motorcycle. Proceed with caution, some parts can be almost new, some will need some care or repair before they can be used.

  1. Baboon Parts
  2. VB Motorparts
  3. Japan Webike (Especially good for Japanese motorcycles)
  4. Motoparts EU
  5. Dekker Motorparts

Classifieds: Many people decide to sell their original parts once they have replaced them with aftermarket parts. Quite a good source for suspension parts, exhausts, headlights, luggage racks, crash protection etc. Not recommended for consumables (brake pads, tires…)

General Consumables

These are the wear and tear parts, something that every rider should regularly check and replace (or let it be replaced by VolksMoto for example). You should follow the service manual here for the regular service intervals to see what needs to be replaced and when (oil and filter, air filter, spark plugs, brake fluid, coolant). Some parts are replaced on demand, when they are worn enough that riding further can even present a risk (brake pads, discs, chain, sprockets, tires). These places also sell many addons and accessories to personalize your ride, or make various visual or performance enhancements. You can either select a brand, year, model of a motorcycle and the site will show you parts that fit your motorcycle (although you still need to verify sometimes as this is not bulletproof), or you can search for a specific part if you know exactly what you are looking for.

There are also some websites that sell more generic parts, less known brands or copies of original parts but still can be good quality. Do your research before purchasing from these vendors

Tires

If you’re not sure which tire size you need, you can always consult the owner or service manual of your motorcycle, or you can also check the recommended tires for your motorcycle on the tire manufacturer website. They also usually have cashback promotions running at the start of the season, so it’s worth checking these websites anyway around March / April. There are many other brands, I just list the top 5 below.

  1. Michelin
  2. Dunlop
  3. Metzeler
  4. Pirelli
  5. Continental

Most of the stores mentioned above under General Consumables would also sell motorcycle tires, but the stores listed below are only selling tires, and might have better prices or delivery times.
